Lowbrow Art anyone?
I've really been enjoying the Lowbrow art world these days. I enjoy most things described as Lowbrow but in this case it's art. The painting i have posted is by Scott Saw. I like the way the LA Weekly describes it:
"Lowbrow art — the loose mash-up of excluded visual culture ranging from tattoos, underground comix and custom hot rods to slick post-graffiti street-art campaigns and immaculately glazed pop-surrealist oil paintings — has emerged from its scrappy underworld beginnings and is finally getting the respect it has always craved." Wow that is really kick ass. I'm gonna check out some of these guys and get back to you. Remember Scot, the guy that did those two pieces in our living room? He has a web site you should check out www.losergoes1st.com I love the stuff with birds.

Sorry, Ryan I think the old man may read this at times... But, yes i agree that is the ultimate lowbrow art!!
